Lumi Continuity

Research synthesis ready Implementation untested
Scope & validation limits

Current scope: source-backed design, not a functioning, validated continuity system. Restoration, model migration, and embodiment have not been demonstrated.

A saved memory is not yet a remembered one

Storage, recall, correction, and recovery are different promises. A memory-and-continuity synthesis about traceable evidence, recognizable behavior, and why a portable notebook is not a portable permission slip.

Project relevance
The synthesis separates storage, recall, correction, recovery, and authorization into distinct design questions for Lumi Continuity. It connects research to proposed work, not evidence that the implementation works.

Generative Agents retrieval: when recency is an ordering, not a clock

A pinned paper-to-code review finds ordinal decay and unequal scoring weights in the author-linked retrieval path. Why preserving memory text does not guarantee preserving retrieval behavior.

Project relevance
A follow-up for distinguishing retrieval-time semantics and state changes in Lumi Continuity’s recall design. This is scoped paper and static-code review, not execution, reproduction, or implementation validation.
